Lori Hendricks   Wagoner County Clerk

Thank you for allowing me to serve you as your Wagoner County Clerk. It has been my most sincere pleasure and it is my hope that you will entrust me with this honor once more. I am very proud of the accomplishments we have made during my term and as I reflect on those things which we set as our goals for the office, I can confidently say that we have fulfilled those goals and gone beyond our initial promise.
•You will find that our staff offers the most professional and courteous experience of any county clerk’s office in our area. We are proud of the feedback we receive daily on the ease of experience our guests have working with us.
•We have worked diligently to ensure that you are able to find any information you may be seeking on both our previous county website and the new one we rolled out just last month. In fact, we have been recognized by the Sunshine Review with an A- grade for transparency.
•Most recently, we have rolled out FRAUD GUARD, a property protection program where participants can be notified when documents are filed against their property. This service is at no cost to you!
•We have added the recordings of the Commissioners Meetings to the website so those who are unable to make the Monday morning meetings can still participate in their county government. We have also implemented new software to enable visitors to listen to only those agenda items which are of interest rather than having to listen to the entire meeting.
•We have added the Wagoner County Budget in its entirety to the website rather than the two-page publication sheet you find in the newspaper. This enables Wagoner County Citizens to obtain an accurate picture of Wagoner County Finances.
• Land Records Documents may now be filed online and they are searchable online as far back as 1953!  When I took office they were only available back to 1992. As always, documents may be searched and printed online at no fee. They are your documents and we cannot in good conscience charge you to see them.
•We have made improvements to the bid process, simplifying and posting all bid documents online for review by both bidders and the public, and with the new website, we now offer a subscription service through which vendors can be notified when bids are posted.
•We have reduced spending by seeking out ways to save on office supplies and printing and initiated paperless processes where we are able.
•Our staff continues to train with Oklahoma State University and many have completed the highest level of certification offered. Additionally, I have been asked to serve on the County Clerk’s advisory board for that program and have been a guest instructor for classes offered to other clerks.
•I currently serve as the President of the County Clerks Association allowing me to work with other clerks to improve processes for all counties in Oklahoma.
Finally, we have made significant efforts to protect your records by ensuring that every document stored in our office is digitized and backed up redundantly off-site. We understand that Oklahoma is no stranger to natural disaster and you can be confident that your records are recoverable should we ever experience a catastrophic event at the courthouse. There is more we would like to do to make your experience with our office better, more transparent, convenient and efficient. It is my hope to have another opportunity to serve you to bring these ideas to fruition. Thank you again for allowing me to serve as YOUR county clerk!
